Thanks Greensboro!
See You Tonight. : )
Its no secret that the band is greatly admired by Maxwell. We thought it would only be fair to have a “Meet the Band” segment so that you can see and hear what these talented individuals are like off stage. Over the next couple of days we will have interviews with different band members and give them the spotlight they have earned and deserve.
For those of you who are not from Birmingham, Maxwell’s last two shows in 1999 & 2001 were canceled. This made the show on November 10th a little bit more than special. If you had a chance to listen to his interview with Chris Coleman on 98.7 FM, he mentioned he’d do something special for Birmingham and he also gave props to his bass player – Birmingham’s own Sean Michael Ray, who was recently interviewed here. .
With Obama’s win still fresh, here are some heroes from Alabama who have helped pave the way for all Americans.

Maxwell and the band experienced an incredible out pour of love from the crowd at the Macufe Music Festival, it became pretty obvious that the people of South Africa dig them some Maxwell. The feeling was mutual!
The Dutch truly represented at Heinekin Music Hall and welcomed Maxwell to Amsterdam for his only European stop on the Live 08 tour. Although the show started later than expected, the capacity crowd of 5000 did not disappoint and can definitely look forward to Maxwell returning next year.
As Maxwell said in his twitter, Boston was no joke and really set the tone for the US leg of the tour. The Opera House was full of sexy people dressed to the 9’s - dont think we didnt see you all : )
